Walking With Grief
Grief touches us all. It’s a natural, deeply human response to losing something or someone we’ve loved — a person, a role, a home, a stage of life. Sometimes it arrives with a tidal wave, other times as a quiet ache that lingers. And it’s not always about death — we can grieve endings of all kinds, even when they’re subtle or unseen by others — and even when we’ve been the one to lovingly close the chapter, knowing it was time, yet still feeling the weight of the goodbye.
There’s no map for this journey. No “right” way to grieve. Some days make sense, others don’t — and that’s okay. What I’ve come to understand is that healing isn’t about fixing grief. It’s about gently meeting it, being with it, and allowing the body and heart to process in their own wise time.
What can help is having someone walk alongside you. A safe, accepting space where you can simply be – without judgement, pressure or expectation.
If you’re grieving, know this:
✨ Your grief is valid, no matter what shape it takes or how long it lasts
✨ It’s not just about loss through death – big life changes, ageing, or shifts in identity can all stir up grief
✨ You’re not alone – even if it sometimes feels that way
This space is here for you. Whether you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, numb, or unsure how to move forward… you’re welcome just as you are.
