My Book — A Journey into Healing, Hope & the W·I·L·D® Way

After more than a decade of supporting others on their healing journeys, I felt a deep inner nudge — it was time to share my own. To put into words the experiences, insights, and shifts that changed my life, and to offer them as a guiding light for others who might be feeling lost, stuck or overwhelmed.

So I put pen to paper (well fingertips to keys!) and poured my heart into this book.

It weaves together my personal story of healing and transformation, the birth of W·I·L·D® Wellbeing, and the powerful perspective-shifting tools I’ve come to trust along the way.

You’ll find hope, honesty, and gentle encouragement on every page — along with practical guidance for reconnecting with your body’s wisdom and walking your own unique path back to freedom, joy, and wellbeing.

Take a Walk on the W·I·L·D® Side — The Story Behind the Book

Choosing the right title was a step in itself — one which needed to capture the spirit of this journey and invite you to walk alongside me.

“Take a Walk on the W·I·L·D® Side” emerged as the perfect invitation — to embrace your own wild, authentic self, and to explore the dance of healing and self-discovery.

The book is a gentle companion for anyone feeling lost, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their health or sense of self.

Inside, I share my story — from moments of deep struggle and self-doubt to the discoveries which helped me reconnect with my body’s wisdom and reclaim my joy.

You’ll find reflections and tools to help you:

  • Soften limiting beliefs that hold you back
  • Listen with kindness to your body’s messages
  • Deepen your connection with your true self
  • Step into your W·I·L·D® to live more freely and wholeheartedly.

Let’s walk this path together — one page at a time.

Writing this book was its own journey — a dance demanding courage, vulnerability, and perseverance.

The first draft poured out in a whirlwind, but then came the careful crafting, the rewrites, and the moments of doubt… But with the gentle support of my amazing editor, AnnMarie Reynolds of beginabook.com, we worked on shaping my message with clarity and heart.

With feedback from the generous beta readers, and a loving final polish, the book grew into a beacon of hope for anyone who’s felt alone or overwhelmed by illness or life’s challenges.

This book is a reminder — healing and happiness are possible, even when they seem far away.
After all, I never imagined I’d be a writer, but here we are! And I’m so grateful to now be able to bring this to you.

A Visual Invitation to Transformation

The cover of the book is itself a doorway — crafted with nature’s colours and symbols of transformation, it invites you to step into a space of healing and self-discovery. Again, thanks to AnnMarie for helping to bring this vision to life!

I was also fortunate to work with creative partners, Stephen Gillen and Edward Southwell of Publicity Hounds, who have helped bring the book’s spirit alive through the beautiful videos you see on this page.

Here’s to growth, connection, and the joyful unfolding ahead!

Whether you’re just beginning to explore your wellbeing or have been on the path for some time, this book is for you if you’re ready to listen deeply, love yourself more fully, and embrace the beautiful, messy dance of life and healing.

Thank you for joining me on this journey. I can’t wait to hear what you discover within these pages.

You can find the book now in paperback, Kindle, and Audible on Amazon and on Waterstones online stores.
